The popular grape variety is known all over the world. The grapes grow on the best selected vineyards of the municipality of Eppan. They develop in such an excellent way that they produce a high quality and powerful but elegant premium wine. Chardonnay is part of the Sanct Valentin line since 1986 and is one of the most important wines of the winery. Excellent balance, well integrated acid and excellent aging potential.
The Great Hamerma
Has undergone the same treatment as the Sanct Valentin Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio. Wood, sur lie, best plots. Luxury Chardonnay therefore. Perhaps less personal and distinctive, but extraordinarily beautiful. High compact. Exciting energy for the mouth. Memories of the past: the first thrill sign. Now there are patterns with nitrous oxide, then we pressed the two copper ends of a white Cat battery against the tip of the tongue. Kicks for almost nothing. The first shiver behind the back - associated with mountain wine - then with candied apricot and apple, good nougat with its nut (not too sweet), cinnamon (not too much) and a discreet creaminess.
A serious fragrance, with ripe citrus fruit and fine toast. The taste is round, lightly filming, mild acids with a noticeable long aftertaste.
