Description
Aglianico Campania has a ruby red color with purple hues. In the fragrance it has very intense aromas of cocoa powder, tobacco and fresh fruit such as mulberry and plum in combination with balsamic notes. Firm but ripe tannins enrich the fresh alcoholic structure and a strong taste of the wine. Ideal for barbecues and grilled meat. Combine it with dishes such as; pasta with tuna sauce, pasta with mushrooms, roasted sausage with fennel and stuffed aubergine.
This wine is produced from only Aglianico grapes. The bunches are picked by hand and brought to the cellar in small boxes so as not to crush them. 50% of the wine is aged in wooden barrels for 6 months after fermentation, 50% in stainless steel tanks.
