Valpolicella comes from the vineyard 'Case Vecie' at 450 meters above sea level. The vineyard was planted in 1994. The ripening of the grapes is a slow process, which is influenced by the local cold nights and warm days. These special circumstances give the grapes a high acidity and a spiciness, to be found in the wine.
The wine is matured in 25 HL Slovenian oak barrels for 1 year.
In the Grote Hamersma
'Looks classic but behind the label is a contemporary, slender Valpolicella. Slim-sweet-sour. Light condiment, petite tannins. Risotto stirs. Not with peas, mint or asparagus. Sausages must be in it. Gorgonzola or mushrooms. The whole ensemble is also allowed. The acids can handle it. And for those who still have a hole: on to the Ripasso of the firm '.
