Description
This Côtes du Rhône Villages St Andeol has a beautiful deep red garnet color. In the nose, it is elegant and well-balanced with fruity and spicy aromas. On the palate it is full, with a nice roundness and the taste of dried red fruit, spices and a slightly sweet feeling of currants in the aftertaste, the silky soft tannins, gives an elegance worthy of the largest vintages. The Saint-Andéol cuvée is aged in oak barrels. Powerful and silky smooth, the wine evolves from its vanilla notes to more complex aromas of candied fruit, plum, spice and toasting with a mocha finish. An excellent promise!
The grapes are harvested manually, after which they are placed on the sorting table of the last generation, to remove all stems and leaf residues. Then a long fermentation takes place between 25 and 30 days at a temperature of 28 to 32 degrees. The wine is aged for 9 to 15 months in oak barrels, 25% of which are new. With a storage potential of 10 to 12 years.
