Robert Parker Wine Advocate
No less than 91 points from Robert Parker Parker points 2010 91
The Quote: The most widely read wine writer in the world is undoubtedly the American Robert Parker. His wine magazine The Wine Advocate, is seen as one of the references in our wine world. He gives wines points out of 100 and it goes without saying that everything between 90 and 100 points can be seen as exceptionally good wine. Lopez de Haro is one of the new wines in the collection of Bosman Wijnkopers, we are very happy with it. Fine, distinctive Rioja at an excellent price. To our delight, the Crianza recently received no less than 91 points from Robert Parker. A super score and that for a wine of only € 8.95. This wine consists of three Fungi, tempranillo, garnacha and graciano. The young wine ripens for 18 months in oak barrels of which about 10% is renewed each year. Serve this Crianza around 16 degrees Celsius (just below room temperature) with Red meat, casseroles, (Feather) Wild or a richly filled Cheese platter.
