Of the 2 Pinot Noir's from Vignoble des 2 lunes, the 'Lune Noir' is the most powerful because of the origin of the grapes; old sticks from a strong Pinot Noir terroir with granite bottoms. The color is purplish red and the scent is fresh with aromas of red fruit like cherries and raspberries with some peasant tones that are relaxed by the scent of vanilla. This wine is dry, elegant and intense with smooth tannins and very concentrated. We like to cook roasted quail with figs here. Pork cutlet in mushroom sauce with, for example, a hazelnut crust or a veal cutlet in a farmer's style.
Cécile and Amélie, the two sisters who own the vineyard, are the seventh generation to operate these vineyards. She obtained Demeter certification to improve their parents' biodynamic work.
