Description
The Riesling Kalkstein impresses with its beautiful, clear fruitiness, aromas of fresh apples, some quince and a touch of peach. With a present, refreshing and at the same time harmonious acidity and fine minerality, despite its volume it is frigile and youthful.It is an elegant and dry Riesling with a lot of finesse. Its character traits are classic for the Riesling grape variety and its terroir. A Riesling to drink at any occasion, pure or as a companion.
Grown on very chalky marl soils on the Dittelsheimer Kloppberg, the grapes are harvested after a particularly long ripening period and carefully fermented into wine. The young wine is stored until bottling on the yeast, which gives it a large volume and a long shelf life.
