Description
Les Cluques has a ruby red hue with purple reflections in the glass. A wine at the beginning, the very beginning of evolution. It has a fresh scent with notes of mint, licorice, blueberry, plum. Greedy and straightforward. On the palate the same fruity and fresh sensation from the start. A smooth Béarn wine with crunchy tannins.
The grapes come from a hillside, in the heart of a plot of the youngest Cabernet Franc vines of Mont D'Oraas. It is a blend with a large majority of Cabernet Franc (80%), in combination with 10% Tannat and 10% Merlot.
It is this terroir, with a density of 6,500 vines / ha and a yield of 55 hl / ha, oriented to the south, south-west, that sublimates the aromas of the Cabernet. The grapes are manually harvested, sorted in the vineyard, vinified and assembled to enhance the fruit character. A light, round and easy to drink red wine. A pleasure to drink with friends and fits perfectly as an aperitif or in combination with different dishes.
