Description
Cuna is a Pinot Noir with an aristocratic and earthy character, which can combine in one sip the typical rustic of Tuscany with the great elegance of this grape. It is an elegant red wine, produced with indigenous yeasts without filtration. Tight, harmonious, fine and fresh, pleasantly rustic, with hints of wild berries, dark spices and scrub. It is an organic wine, made with old-style artisanal methods.
Cuna is the organic work of the 7 small vineyards Nuc, Pozzo, Fedelone, 2 Fratelli, Querce, Becco and Cuna. The wine is made by harvesting 7/8 from the "very early" first days of September to the "late" days in October. In doing so, winemaker Fredeirco Staderini from the different vineyards tries to bring out the many faces of Pinot Noir: from a barely blossomed youthful grape, to the balanced and solid mature, to deep and generous ripeness.
Aging: 15 to 18 months in old barrique and then in bottle.
