This Albarino from Rías Baixas has a straw yellow color with green and gold sparkles. It is intensely fruity on the nose with aromas of apricot, pineapple and apple with hints of white flowers. The wine is full and the fruit fleshy with a balanced acidity that gives it freshness. Persistent with an elegance and persistent finish. This wine combines well with crustaceans and shellfish such as scallops, squid / calameres, prawns al ajillo or, for example, paella.
Adegas Valtea is close to the Atlantic Ocean, about 30km from both Vigo and Ourense, the two major cities in this part of Galicia where the demoniación Rías Baixas is located. This is the Atlantic, cool, humid and above all green part of Spain that produces perhaps the best white wines in the country. Responsible for the vinification is oenologist Carla González Chao.
