Dominio de Otero was founded in 1965 by Manuel Otero, but the family has been in the wine industry since 1902. Now the Bodega is run by Julio Otero, the 3rd generation.
It has 43 hectares of vineyard. The domain is located in the northeast of the province of Zamora around the city of Benavente. Julio Otero is co-responsible for the upgrade of his region to Vino de Calidad de los Valles de Benavente (IGP) and aims to upgrade to D.O.
