Bonnet-Huteau

Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is located in the center of the Muscadet area, in the Sèvre & Maine appellation, 20 km from Nantes and 10 km from Clisson. It is a small, attractive Italian-style town on the River Sèvre Nantaise. This domain has been family owned for over 150 years.

Jean-Jacques, Rémi Bonnet and Vincent Pineau are at the helm of Domaine Bonnet-Huteau. Their aim is to develop a whole palette of flavors so that their Muscadet wines express the best quality and minerality for each terroir - gneiss, micaschist, amphibolite and granite. The plot 'Les Gautronnières' is slightly higher but is nevertheless influenced by the Goulaine swamp which lies along the Gabbro massif (volcanic rock). These 'green' rocks offer more fertile soils, which give a great minerality and pronounced character to the wine.
