Description
Hermitage Blanc has a deep color with amber hues and shimmers of copper. Continuing to develop with age, the fragrance remains rich with full floral and spicy notes of vanilla, grilled almonds, fresh wood, bergamot, marzipan, candied fruit and gingerbread. The dense and powerful taste is well balanced with a light mineral note.
This Hermitage Blanc is the result of a long friendship between Franck Faugier of Domaine des Hauts Châssis and Fabrice Gonnet, a passionate wine lover. This vintage is an assembly of a selection of hand-harvested grapes from respectful producers of different plots. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged in 2 to 4 year old oak barrels for a period of 8 to 12 months. After bottling, the wine is kept in our cellar for 12 months before being sold.
