Description
Made from 100% Albarola, often used in blends, but in this case this native strain stands on its own. It has a straw yellow color. The aroma is an intense blend: there are hints of wild flowers, Mediterranean shrubs and citrus fruits. The taste is full and very fresh, reminiscent of the sensations in the nose. Its excellent taste rewards us with an infinite persistence in the aftertaste. A wine that is particularly suitable to pair with fish dishes, baked or stewed. But also with vegetarian dishes, curries and Eastern Mediterranean cuisine.
The name Lvnae is inspired by the city of Luni, an ancient Etruscan and Greek port, dedicated by the Greeks (Luna, for the Romans) to the goddess Selene. The first Luna settlement was founded by the Romans in 177 BC. Lvnae Bosoni's wine production is rooted in the ancient history of this country and its peoples, the Etruscans, Greeks and Romans, from whom it inherited a great wine tradition.
The area of Colli di Luni is the most eastern corner of the region (see photos), located between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps, only 11 km from the sea as the crow flies. This privileged position creates a unique microclimate where the alternating action of the sea and the mountain breeze, depending on whether it is day or night, creates the perfect conditions for the cultivation of vines and the production of excellent wines.
