This wine has a great deep color. It has an intense aroma of dark fruits, such as blackberries and blueberries. Mineral notes also appear, creating a fresh wine with complexity. On the palate, this wine again dominates with fruit sensations, a wine with body; although at the same time it leaves a pleasant, tasty impression. The ripeness of the grapes from which this wine is made contribute to this.

Picaro is made from 100% Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo). The grapes come from 90 year old vines with limited production. The grapes are manually harvested during the first fifteen days of October and transported to the wine cellars in small crates. The grape fermentation takes place in concrete barrels with a capacity of 15,000 kg, temperature controlled every 24 ° C, which preserves both the fruit and the freshness that characterizes this wine. The malolatic fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels. This wine has not been filtered or clarified using harsh methods to preserve its natural characteristics.
