Rosé Les Fossiles has a pale salmon-like color, characteristic of the grape variety. On the nose a nice aromatic intensity with predominantly apricot, white peach and lychee. On the palate, the wine is fruity, smooth, sufficiently fresh and has a very good balance between creamy and fine acidity.
Denis Jamain believes that the land they work is a loan and that they should return it to future generations as healthily as possible. This desire to respect the environment and the welfare of the land fully motivated their choice of organic farming and biodynamics for the management of the vineyard.
In addition to his passion for the vines, Denis Jamain has been equally passionate about trees since childhood and is fortunate to be able to manage a family forest 15 kilometers from Reuilly. The trees of this region are world famous for the production of staves intended for vinification in oak barrels. Their growth is very slow, producing a fine grain that is essential for good osmosis of the wine's tannins with the wood.
