Sylvain Loichet Meursault " Clos du Cromin" 2016
|Profile||medium bodied, dry|
|Match with||Whitefish, Shellfish, Salmonids, Clambs, White Meat|
Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, Meursault is one of the most famous villages in Burgundy. It is seen as the capital of the great white wines. The Clos du Cromin is located in the northeast of the village, near the 1st Cru "Santenots". The stone walls of this closed vineyard and the Burgundian origin of the name "Cro", testify to the presence of quarries on this site long ago.
Loichet buys his grapes for this Meursault. Because they have to meet their quality requirements, he does not make this super wine every year. Limited availability!
